The success of EMC Fem bikes is not by chance. The success has come from our commitment to women specific bicycles with tailored frame design, fit and ride quality. Our geometries are slightly different to other brands. In general, women have longer legs and shorter torso’s than men that requires a frame designed to factor this difference. Many bike companies simply use steeper seat angles to compensate for shorter torsos at the expense of ride quality.
Steeper seat angles put you in a position further forward over the front of the bike. This upsets the balance and your position on the bike as there’s too much weight forward. This is even more noticeable as speeds increase, with the bike becoming harder to control at a time when you need just the opposite…more control when traveling faster.
