We introduced Araya rims in the early 1980's when we were manufacturing Pantha BMX bikes and also supplying after market rims.

This was a time when JAPAN was the main source of quality bicycle components other than traditional European manufacturers. Over time because of the high cost of manufacturing in JAPAN manufacturing of bicycles and components moved to the island of Taiwan because of lower cost structures.

Araya continued like other premium Japanese brands like Nitto, MKS.Panaracer, Kashimax and Shimano to manufacture in JAPAN with some production going offshore with their world class quality control and expertise of detail.

We are pleased once again to renew these longstanding relationships and are re- introducing a range of Araya rims.

We will have models to suit BMX. MTB. TOURING. ROAD. We also will have Tubular racing rims for Road, Triathlon and Track of course stocking the famous 16B Gold Keirin track rim.
